Amaichat LLC ("Amaichat", "we", "us", or "our") operates an AI-powered missed call recovery and customer communication platform for small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.

How consent is collected. Amaichat sends SMS messages only to callers who have placed an inbound voice call to one of our business clients AND have given explicit verbal consent during that call. No unsolicited, cold, or marketing messages are ever sent.

The opt-in flow is:

  1. The caller dials the business's phone number — this is the caller's own action.
  2. Our AI receptionist (powered by Amaichat) answers and helps the caller (booking, questions, transfer to staff, etc.).
  3. If the caller wants follow-up information by text — for example, a booking link, appointment details, or business hours — the AI explicitly asks for verbal consent using these exact words:
"I can send you a text with your booking link, appointment details, or follow-up information from Amaichat. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Our privacy policy is at amaichat.com/privacy-policy. Would you like me to send that?"

The SMS is sent only if the caller responds affirmatively (e.g., "yes", "sure", "please"). If the caller declines or doesn't respond, no SMS is sent. The caller's phone number was already provided by them through the inbound call itself — Amaichat does not purchase, scrape, or otherwise acquire phone numbers.

Message frequency. Typically 1 SMS per inbound call event (a confirmation or booking link). If the caller replies and engages in a follow-up conversation, additional messages are exchanged as part of that conversation. There are no scheduled promotional sends, no batch sends, and no marketing campaigns.

Opt-out. Recipients can opt out of receiving any further messages at any time by replying STOP. Upon receiving STOP, an automatic confirmation is sent and the number is permanently blocked from receiving further messages from Amaichat. Recipients can also reply HELP at any time to receive contact information for assistance.

Mobile information sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in consent, and SMS message content collected by Amaichat are never sold, rented, or transferred to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes whatsoever. The only parties with access to a caller's mobile number are: (a) the business client whose customer the caller is (so they can serve that customer), and (b) the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the SMS (Twilio for transmission, our database provider for storage and opt-out tracking). These service providers are bound by data-processing agreements and operate solely as our processors — they do not use this data for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard mobile carrier rates apply to messages received and sent. Check with your mobile carrier for applicable rates.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify business clients of significant changes via email or SMS. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
